Rebecca 'Becky' Pauline Gary was living in Baton Route in 1988. She was a 32-year-old single mother to a 12- year-old daughter. She carried around a mysterious manila envelope, and told family and friends that if something happened to her, the answer was in the envelope. Becky put her daughter on a bus to visit family on December 18, 1988. December 27, 1988 she would call her sister and say she wanted to move back to Shreveport. That was the last time anyone would hear from Becky Gary. Both Becky & the mysterious manila envelope have vanished.
